As a Business Experience & Planning Group Manager within PNC's Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH. Position Summary We are seeking a highly strategic and results-driven Business Experience & Planning Group Manager to lead enterprise-wide initiatives that drive business performance, operational excellence, and organizational transformation. This role will partner across functions to bridge gaps, align priorities, and execute critical projects that support company growth, profitability, and long-term success. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen, financial analysis, change management expertise, and cross-functional leadership to influence decision-making and deliver measurable business outcomes.

  • Higher level education such as a Masters degree, PhD, or certifications is desirable.
  • Industry-relevant experience is typically 8+ years.
  • At least 5 years of prior management experience is typically required.
  • Proven leadership experience with a moderate to large scope of responsibility is required.
  • In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job specific certification(s), and experience (including military service) may be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage high-impact special projects and enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop and execute annual planning processes, including initiatives that support funding and investment decisions for future fiscal years.
  • Analyze and connect business, operational, and financial data to identify opportunities for increased profitability, cost optimization, and improved performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Finance, Operations, and other business functions to evaluate business impacts, financial implications, and organizational changes.
  • Serve as a strategic connector across teams, bridging gaps between functions and ensuring alignment on priorities, objectives, and execution plans.
  • Drive organizational change initiatives, partnering with stakeholders to develop implementation strategies and ensure successful adoption.
  • Build business cases, financial models, and executive presentations to support strategic recommendations and investment decisions.
  • Monitor initiative performance, track key metrics, and provide insights to leadership on progress and business impact.
  • Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to remove barriers, accelerate decision-making, and deliver enterprise results.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, enhance the employee and customer experience, and strengthen organizational effectiveness.
  • Oversees cross-functional teams to improve line of business planning methods.
  • Defines key line of business initiatives and growth strategies and programs that will drive line of business objectives.
  • Demonstrates commitment to quality by delivering customer focus, appropriate risk management practices and leadership standards to customers and/or internal partners.
  • Responsible for the evaluation and transformation of business models for the line of business to improve their organizational effectiveness, expand business, and increase profits
  • Leads team in execution of strategic plan and/or specific initiatives to achieve line of business goals.
  • Develops strong partnerships with key decision makers to ensure cross-business and cross-functional alignment and synergy.
  • Leads a team or multiple teams that develop and implement best practices and learning plans to meet business objectives.
