About The Position

Cardinal Ritter College Prep, a St. Louis Archdiocesan coeducational college preparatory high school for grades 9–12, seeks a certified Business Education Teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to teach in an urban, college-preparatory environment, possess a strong academic background, and hold a valid Missouri Teaching Certificate (Master’s degree preferred).

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Business Education, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Missouri State Teaching Certification in Business Education (required)
Strong knowledge of core business concepts including entrepreneurship, financial literacy, accounting, marketing, management, and economics
Ability to teach courses such as Personal Finance, Entrepreneurship, Business Management, and Introduction to Business
Experience integrating real‑world applications, case studies, simulations, and project‑based learning
Ability to connect students to college and career pathways in business and related industries
Understanding of financial‑literacy standards and workforce‑readiness competencies
Strong classroom‑management, communication, and organizational skills

Nice To Haves

Experience teaching in an urban, college‑prep environment (preferred)
Master’s degree

Responsibilities

Support and model the mission, vision, policies, and procedures of the St. Louis Archdiocese and Cardinal Ritter College Prep
Plan and deliver high‑quality instruction using the Gradual Release Model
Create assessments that promote higher‑order thinking
Incorporate instructional technology effectively and implement project‑based learning
Maintain a classroom environment conducive to learning
Use the school’s online student data system and Google applications
Demonstrate commitment to the vocation of teaching and collaborate effectively with colleagues
