About The Position

As a Business Director for the Discover Network Brand team, you will tackle the complex brand questions of a global payments leader. You will partner with world-class professionals to design, test, and deploy strategies that drive brand equity and bottom-line growth. Discover Network is an international acceptance network that provides global acceptance to cardholders of participating Issuers from around the world Diners Club International is a premium issuing brand that has 40+ issuers in 35+ countries; the Diners Club network is an international network that provides global acceptance to cardholders of participating Issuers from around the world Pulse is a leading U.S. debit network known for its strength in real-time debit and an extensive global ATM network

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least 4 years of experience performing quantitative analysis
  • At least 4 years of experience performing qualitative analysis
  • At least 2 years of experience performing people management
  • At least 2 years of experience performing project management

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s Degree
  • 2+ years of experience in payments, financial services, or payment network
  • 1+ year of experience in consulting

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute brand architecture and positioning strategies across our three distinct network brands (Discover, Diners Club, and Pulse).
  • Drive structured problem-solving and decision-making by marrying conceptual strategy with a strong quantitative orientation.
  • Lead the global brand learning agenda; translate B2B and B2C insights into go-to-market strategies and high-impact content to engage our mix of audiences
  • Oversee brand health metrics and associations to ensure the portfolio equities remain competitive in a fluid market landscape.
  • Build and mentor a high-performing team of analysts; foster an environment of continuous learning and accountability across the enterprise.
  • Manage the multi-year delivery of brand intent, converting high-level strategy into technical business requirements and actionable programs
  • Act as a strategic liaison between Enterprise Brand, External Affairs, Corporate Strategy, Network Strategy and Product teams to drive alignment.
  • Distill complex strategic concepts into impeccable written and oral communications to secure buy-in from senior leadership.
