Requirements

  • High school diploma, equivalent or GED
  • 1+ years’ sales and/or business development experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop Business-to-Business sales pipeline from scratch.
  • Experience with job development and placement strategies for job seekers with disabilities.
  • Must have and maintain valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and ability to travel within and throughout region where services are provided.
  • Must complete and pass background check.
  • Regularly stand, walk, sit, talk and hear.
  • Capable of writing, using a computer keyboard, telephone and related office equipment.
  • Ability to lift 15lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Executing business development strategy, employer engagement, and placement pipeline performance across assigned regions.
  • Assisting in identifying and researching potential business opportunities and markets.
  • Supporting preparation of presentations, proposals, and reports for prospective clients.
  • Maintaining and updating customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
  • Coordinating and scheduling meetings with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Assisting in the development and execution of marketing campaigns and business development strategies.
  • Conducting market analysis and competitor research.
  • Assisting with drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and other business documents.
  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and prospecting activities.
  • Proactively seeking opportunities for employment program growth and strategic business development initiatives.
  • Supporting and coaching Job Placement Facilitators (JPFs) and job development activities to facilitate employment opportunities and achieve performance targets.
  • Assisting in planning, executing, and monitoring projects.
  • Preparing project plans, schedules, and timelines.
  • Coordinating project activities and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Maintaining project documentation, including meeting minutes, status reports, and risk logs.
  • Facilitating communication among project team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Identifying and resolving project issues and risks.
  • Directly supervising Job Placement Specialists (JPS), including oversight of daily job development activities, employer outreach, and placement coordination.
  • Owning performance outcomes related to employer engagement, interview conversion, and placement volume.
  • Establishing and maintaining employer partnerships that support Competitive Integrated Employment (CIE) outcomes.
  • Providing coaching, guidance, and performance management to Job Placement Specialists.
  • Monitoring accuracy of documentation, reporting, and compliance with funding and program requirements.
  • Identifying risks, barriers, and performance gaps and escalating concerns as appropriate.
  • Collaborating with Area Managers to ensure alignment between client readiness, referrals, and job development efforts.
  • Supporting implementation of standardized workflows, KPIs, and employer engagement strategies across regions.
  • Providing administrative support related to business development activities.
  • Organizing and maintaining files, records, and documentation.
  • Handling correspondence and communications.
  • Preparing and distributing meeting agendas and meeting minutes.
  • Assisting with travel arrangements and event planning.
  • Performing additional duties as assigned.
