About The Position

City Wide Facility Solutions of Washington helps commercial businesses maintain clean, safe, and well-maintained facilities through comprehensive janitorial and building maintenance solutions. They partner with businesses throughout Western Washington to simplify facility management and deliver reliable service. They are looking for a motivated, organized, and outgoing Business Development Specialist to join their team in Kent, WA. This individual will play an important role in growing their janitorial business by connecting with prospective clients, identifying their needs, and scheduling qualified appointments for their outside sales team. The Business Development Specialist is responsible for generating new business opportunities through proactive B2B outbound sales calls. This role focuses on researching prospective clients, introducing City Wide's janitorial services, qualifying leads, and scheduling appointments for their sales team. The ideal candidate is confident on the phone, enjoys connecting with people, and thrives in a goal-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1–2 years of B2B outbound calling, cold calling, lead generation, or prospecting experience preferred.
  • Strong verbal communication and customer service skills.
  • Highly organized with the ability to follow a structured sales process.
  • Detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable working toward goals and performance metrics.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

  • Previous experience using CRM systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify businesses that could benefit from City Wide's janitorial services.
  • Make consistent B2B outbound sales calls to prospective clients.
  • Schedule qualified sales appointments for the outside sales team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date prospect information in the CRM database, including call notes, follow-ups, and scheduled appointments.
  • Meet or exceed weekly activity goals and monthly appointment-setting targets.
  • Add new prospects to the database and maintain an organized pipeline of potential clients.
  • Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly activity reports as needed.
  • Send requested company information, thank-you notes, and follow-up communications to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support business development efforts and revenue growth.
