About The Position

Jolly Roofing & Contracting Co., LLC is a leading commercial roofing contractor serving customers throughout the Southeast. We are seeking a motivated and energetic Business Development Specialist to help grow our customer base, generate new business opportunities, and support our sales and estimating teams. As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a key role in expanding Jolly Roofing's sales pipeline by identifying and connecting with prospective customers, developing relationships, and supporting the front end of the estimating and proposal process. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in commercial roofing sales and business development.

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and follow-through skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Comfortable learning commercial roofing terminology and sales processes
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to learn CRM and sales management software
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Previous sales, customer service, recruiting, or business development experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and identify new commercial roofing opportunities through phone calls, email campaigns, networking, and market research
  • Contact property managers, facility managers, building owners, and general contractors to introduce Jolly Roofing's services
  • Schedule introductory meetings and appointments for the sales and operations teams
  • Maintain accurate records and activity notes within the CRM system
  • Assist with bid package preparation and proposal coordination
  • Track leads and opportunities through each stage of the sales process
  • Coordinate follow-up communications with prospective customers
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with clients and industry contacts
  • Support sales and marketing initiatives as needed
