About The Position

The Business Development Specialist role is to secure new and existing business through prospection of new Strategic Partners. As a key member of the sales team, the ideal candidate will have strong relationship building capabilities, and the ability to understand and deliver Fix Network’s value proposition. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, the ideal candidate will play an integral role in driving our franchisee growth objectives. Fix Network requires a Business Development Specialist, who, under the direction of the Regional Vice President will primarily be responsible to secure new and existing business through prospection of new Strategic Partners for our Speedy and Novus divisions. As a key member of the business development team, the ideal candidate will have strong relationship building capabilities, and the ability to understand and deliver Fix Network’s value proposition.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Proven experience and success in business development
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and relationship management skills
  • Possess the following personal qualities: integrity, creativity, high standards, commitment, ethical values, and hievement oriented
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Travel outside of the region may be required
  • Ability to attend and conduct presentations

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving strategic partner growth
  • Primary point of contact in managing new and prospective shops
  • Meets frequently and presents to business partners (distributors and relevant lead sources)
  • Attends trade shows and industry events to represent ProColor
  • Maintain existing relationships with shops that are in network to assist in their growth
  • Stay up to date with external and internal developments in the environment for identifying new market segments.
  • Coordinates vetting process for each new shop from initial vetting to final panel sign off
  • Responsible for branding (ie. Photos, mock ups, measurements, renovations)
  • Works directly with marketing and design teams for additional branding/advertising
  • Assess protective territories for contracts to maximize ProColor expansion
  • Manages shop status in FMS and ensures all necessary documents are provided
  • Manages all inquiries related to ProColor (referrals, leads, etc)
  • Sets expectation for ICAR Gold Certification – Develops roadmap for Gold within 3 month period
  • Introduces shop to paint line reps and ensures that paint line selected will be approved vendor
