Blossman Gas is seeking a motivated Business Development Sales Specialist for their showroom location in the Douglasville, GA area. This role combines inside sales from a showroom environment with outside sales potential, targeting contractors, homebuilders, and commercial clients. The company is a large, independent propane company with a long history of growth and stability, offering opportunities for professional development and above-average income. The Douglasville/west GA-area team is established and serves a growing customer base.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Pass pre-employment checks including background and drug screening.
• Professional, friendly, organized, and conditioned for relationship (trust) selling.
• Proficient computer skills (MS Office, Excel).

• Utilization of technology and growth-oriented expectations.

Nice To Haves

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in business or other related field.
• 2-5 years of prior success with inside sales.
• Some experience with outside sales.

Responsibilities

• Communicate company offerings and services enthusiastically from the showroom and by telephone.
• Work with builders and homeowners for new construction and renovation needs relating to gas fireplace systems, outdoor kitchens, gas appliances, grills, and more, aiming for a good closing rate.
• Conduct some on-site, Outside Sales-related duties when approaching new opportunities for residential propane.
• Remain up to date on preferred brands, financing, preventative maintenance, and promotional offerings.
• Prospect commercial gas opportunities including restaurants, forklift warehouses, manufacturing, laundromats, and more.
• Maintain showroom cleanliness and standards.
• Perform computer work to support daily workflow and customer-care efforts, including regular follow-up with customers by telephone, email, and text.
• Occasionally help customers load new equipment.
