About The Position

Yamaha has an excellent opportunity for a Business Development Sales Rep to join our finance team in Kennesaw, GA. The Business Development Rep is responsible for developing new and incremental growth business strategies for Wholesale Finance, Leasing, and other commercial lending in collaboration with executive and senior management throughout Yamaha Financials Services and Yamaha Motor Corp. Primary resource for executing Commercial Finance business development strategy. Develop and train dealers and distributors on Commercial Finance products.

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree
5+ years of commercial finance, leasing, or inventory finance sales, business development, and relationship management (at least 2 in field) with demonstrated success.
Ability to travel at least 50%
Advanced skill with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, CRM tools
Ability to work successfully in independent, autonomous environment often remote.
Driven by success/results, self-motivated

Prior formal sales training a plus

Responsibilities

Execute and assist in the development of market-based strategies emphasizing profitable loan portfolio growth focused on maximization of existing asset/relationship profitability and revenue growth, strengthening Yamaha Motor Corporation USA’s and Yamaha Financial Services market position and distribution channel strength, and new product / service development.
Work closely with division leaders in financial services and product sales groups to effectively plan and prioritize opportunities.
Implement a consultative sales process through field visits and phone calls which emphasizes efficient prospect/decision-maker identification & qualifying, problem identification, solution development, closing, and process/performance accountability.
Effectively prepare and communicate proposals and presentations to prospect/customer decision makers (often C-level) and Yamaha leadership.
Monitor program effectiveness and competition by analyze trends using company and other industry data. Develop strategies to meet objectives.
Collaborate with Commercial Finance operations, portfolio management, credit, and collections teams to review potential opportunities as well as effectively manage loan performance and profitability.
Train dealers/distributors on Commercial Finance programs and systems.
Record activity in CRM system. Maintain account records.
Analyze pricing with assistance from FP&A.
Represent Yamaha Financial Services at multiple industry and corporate events such as dealer meetings, tradeshows, and internal business meetings.
Other Responsibilities as assigned.
