About The Position

We are seeking an energetic, relationship-driven Business Development & Sales professional to help grow (and then maintain) occupancy, expand referral partnerships, and elevate community presence throughout the Maitland/Winter Park/Orlando market. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on networking, building trust, driving results, and creating meaningful connections with families, healthcare professionals, and the local community, all while making a difference in the lives of our seniors. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping seniors and families navigate important life transitions while also bringing a strategic, sales-focused mindset to business growth. The Business Development & Sales Director is responsible for developing referral relationships, generating qualified leads, managing the sales process from inquiry to move-in, and supporting occupancy growth initiatives. This individual will serve as a key ambassador for the community and organization within the local healthcare and senior services market.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in sales, business development, healthcare marketing, or senior living preferred
  • Proven ability to build professional relationships and close sales
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Self-motivated with high accountability and organization
  • Experience with CRM systems preferred
  • Comfortable with local travel and networking

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with: Hospitals, Skilled nursing facilities, Rehab centers, Physicians and specialists, Professional referral partners, Home health and hospice providers, Case managers and discharge planners, Local organizations and community groups
  • Conduct outside sales calls and networking visits weekly
  • Manage lead follow-up and inquiry conversion process
  • Coordinate tours, assessments, and move-in planning
  • Host and participate in community outreach events
  • Maintain accurate CRM documentation and reporting
  • Collaborate closely with Executive Director and operational leaders
  • Assist with marketing campaigns, outreach initiatives, and brand awareness efforts
  • Meet occupancy, lead conversion, and sales goals
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to residents, families, and referral partners
