As a Business Development Research Analyst, you'll research and analyze product and business opportunities, market size, risks and barriers, industry competition and acquisition trends. You'll collect and maintain information on requirements, organization, budget, and preferences of prospective customers and competitors and make recommendations to management regarding developments in market trends as they apply to our strategic business objectives. The ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance), Aviation, and Security (IAS) business area is a leader in ISR and aviation, it is a leading prime manned and unmanned aircraft systems integrator for innovative, high-performance ISR and aviation systems. Its end-to-end Command, Control, Computers, Communications and Intelligence, Surveillance & Reconnaissance (C4ISR) capabilities encompass design, integration, test, certification, ground/flight training and complete logistics support. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or related field of study.
  • 0-2 years of experience in market research, business analysis, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience can be considered as a substitute for the required educational qualifications.
  • In the absence of a degree, a minimum of 4 years of related experience is required.
  • Higher level relevant degree may substitute for experience.
  • Basic understanding of market research, understanding of key players in the industry around the globe.
  • Proficiency with data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or similar.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to Bloomberg, Gartner, GovWin IQ, or other market research tools.
  • Background in the Aerospace and Defense Industry.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis software (e.g., SPSS, SAS).
  • Proficiency in AI tools for research and analysis.
  • Additional certifications in market research or data analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, customer needs, and competitive strategies.
  • Compile and analyze data on market conditions, customer preferences, and competitor behavior.
  • Assist in developing business proposals, presentations, and strategic recommendations.
  • Maintain and update databases of market intelligence and competitive information.
  • Support the business development teams with actionable insights derived from data analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align market analysis with business objectives.
  • Monitor and report on industry developments and regulatory changes impacting the business.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for management review.
