About The Position

Primer is seeking a Business Development Representative to generate high-quality sales opportunities for their BDM's within a specific set of target accounts through proactive outbound business development activities. The role involves expertly guiding leads through the initial stages of the sales process, booking outbound meetings using a multi-channel approach (cold calls, emails, social outreach, video prospecting), conducting market research to identify potential new customers, and creatively engaging with the Ideal Customer Profile (ICP). Primer is a remote-first company, and this role is ideal for a self-starter who is comfortable picking up the phone, initiating new conversations, and finding creative ways to open doors. The ideal candidate is curious, thoughtful, collaborative, and motivated by growth and making things happen in a fast-moving environment. This role is not suitable for individuals who prefer an office setting, are uncomfortable with shifting context and ambiguity, or do not enjoy the hunting aspect of sales, as the company provides resources to build a strong pipeline.
