About The Position

Restoration 1 of New Jersey is seeking a Business Development Representative to be the face of the company in the North & Central NJ territory. This full-time, road-warrior role focuses on building relationships with referral sources such as insurance agents, adjusters, plumbers, property managers, real estate professionals, facility directors, and local businesses. The goal is to become the first call for property owners when disaster strikes, such as water damage, mold, or fire. This is not a desk job; it involves actively engaging with potential referral partners in the field.

Requirements

  • Mature, presentable, and a strong communicator — comfortable walking into any office cold and leaving with a relationship
  • Self-motivated and structured
  • A clean driving record and a valid NJ driver's license
  • Comfortable being out in the field 80%+ of the week
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in B2B sales
  • Experience in insurance, construction, plumbing, real estate, property management, or any role where you built referral relationships

Responsibilities

  • Build and own a referral network across our North/Central NJ territory
  • Visit insurance agencies, plumbing companies, property management offices, and commercial accounts in person — every week, on a route you build and maintain
  • Follow up on inbound leads quickly and professionally
  • Represent us at local BNI groups, chamber events, trade associations, and industry mixers
  • Track every visit, contact, and opportunity in our CRM
  • Hit weekly activity targets and monthly revenue goals
  • Stay close to our production team so referral partners always get a great experience
