Kyra Health
Hybrid

About The Position

Kyra Health is an AI-native, full-stack ICHRA administrator that focuses on intelligent automation, member data, and year-round support. Their plan matching uses actual medical and prescription history for personalized coverage. The company offers quoting, contribution modeling, compliance, and payroll/HRIS integration, along with licensed experts and an AI assistant for member support. Kyra Health aims to provide employers with cost control and reduced administrative burden, employees with genuine choice and guidance, and brokers with control over client relationships while handling operational tasks. ICHRA is a rapidly growing area in health coverage, and Kyra Health is positioning itself to lead by mastering the insurance aspect, not just the software. They combine deep insurance expertise with engineering, move quickly, and focus on solving complex problems that impact members.

Requirements

  • Active Life and Health Insurance Producer License (or ability and willingness to obtain within the first 90 days of employment). Multi-state licensing is a strong plus.
  • 1–3 years of experience working directly with insurance brokers in the group health / employee benefits space (sales, account management, or broker support roles all considered).
  • Proven ability to grind and open doors: demonstrated success with high-volume cold outreach, persistent follow-up, and building new relationships from scratch. Comfortable with rejection and high activity.
  • Strong working knowledge of the group benefits landscape and employer challenges with traditional plans; familiarity with ICHRA or alternative funding arrangements is a plus (rapid learners with genuine interest encouraged).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills; confident on the phone, in writing, and in virtual or in-person settings.
  • Tech-savvy and excited by AI-powered tools, both for your own productivity and for demoing sophisticated platforms. Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and sales engagement tools preferred.
  • Self-motivated, organized, accountable, and coachable; someone who thrives in a remote startup environment with clear goals and autonomy.
  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively (50-75%) for broker meetings, conferences, and team events.

Nice To Haves

  • Existing broker relationships or warm network in the Southeast or Midwest.
  • Prior experience supporting or selling ICHRA, level-funded plans, or other non-traditional group solutions.
  • Background in high-growth SaaS, insurtech, or benefits technology.
  • Experience with RFP processes or collaborative selling alongside senior reps or marketing teams.
  • Growth mindset with a track record of rapid skill development and hitting activity/revenue milestones.

Responsibilities

  • Execute high-volume prospecting to identify and engage insurance brokers and benefits advisors across key markets in the Southeast and Midwest, with expansion into additional regions as the business grow.
  • Persistently and professionally open new relationships and book qualified discovery meetings and platform demos.
  • Qualify brokers based on client book fit (mid-market employers, openness to ICHRA/alternative funding, pain points with current solutions).
  • Conduct engaging discovery calls and demos that clearly articulate Kyra’s value: AI-powered plan matching with real data, year-round member support, automated compliance, seamless integrations, and broker enablement without added operational burden.
  • Maintain excellent CRM hygiene (activity logging, pipeline updates, accurate forecasting) and report progress transparently to leadership.
  • Support the broader sales team with meeting prep, follow-up, light RFP/proposal assistance, and smooth handoff of qualified opportunities.
  • Represent Kyra at industry events, NABIP chapter meetings, broker conferences, and webinars to generate leads and build brand awareness.
  • Rapidly develop deep product and market expertise; become a trusted resource on ICHRA trends, competitive landscape, and broker needs.
  • Share voice-of-the-broker feedback with product, marketing, and leadership to continuously improve GTM motion.
  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly activity targets (dials, emails, touches, meetings booked) and monthly/quarterly pipeline generation goals.

Benefits

  • Base salary + uncapped commission structure with a clear ramp plan and realistic OTE that rewards both activity and pipeline/results.
  • Opportunity to be a foundational member of the sales team at a fast-growing AI-native insurtech company solving a painful, high-value problem for brokers and employers.
  • Direct collaboration with hands-on leadership who are invested in your coaching and career progression.
  • Clear development path towards senior contributor roles, with defined milestones and regular feedback.
  • Comprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision, PTO, and other perks).
  • Remote flexibility when not traveling, paired with meaningful in-person relationship building and events.
  • Mission-driven culture that values precision, innovation, broker success, and delivering real choice + measurable savings to employees without the traditional administrative headaches.
  • Exposure to the full business — you’ll see how product, operations, compliance, and marketing work together in a true full-stack platform.
