About The Position

The Sales Development Associate plays a critical role in generating and qualifying top-of-the-funnel sales opportunities. This role focuses on outbound prospecting and marketing lead follow-up, leveraging data insights and customer engagement tools. The position requires an individual with strong communication skills and a growth mindset, contributing to both immediate sales targets and long-term business development goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 0-2 years in sales or business development roles.
  • Less than 10% travel, primarily office-based.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and virtual engagement platforms.
  • Understanding of solution selling concepts and ability to overcome customer objections.
  • Basic technical product knowledge and ability to translate features into benefits.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in data-driven decision-making and leveraging insights for prospecting.

Responsibilities

  • Manage outbound prospecting to generate Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs) using company sales plays.
  • Conduct in-depth account research to identify decision-makers and key personas.
  • Engage with Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs), ensuring a steady flow of high-quality opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track lead progress and maintain a robust sales pipeline.
  • Collaborate with regional and global sales teams to align strategies and optimize lead conversion.
  • Provide feedback to improve sales processes and share best practices within the team.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitive analysis, and product developments.
