About The Position

Madison Honda is one of New Jersey's most successful Honda dealerships. We are currently seeking motivated Business Development Representatives (BDC) to join our Internet Sales team. Our dealership values professionals who are hardworking, customer-focused, and possess strong communication skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a similar role is required
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with internet tools and computer applications
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage sales leads and follow-up activities
  • Strong follow-through and customer service skills

Nice To Haves

  • Sales experience is a plus
  • Experience at a Honda dealership preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Manage all incoming phone calls and internet leads promptly and professionally
  • Confirm and schedule sales appointments with customers
  • Perform long-term follow-up with unsold customers, including internet leads, showroom visitors, and phone inquiries
  • Reach out to existing customers to ensure satisfaction and generate repeat business
  • Record customer comments and update the customer database accurately
  • Coordinate with the sales team to verify appointment outcomes
  • Reschedule appointments for no-show customers
  • Contact customers through phone, email, and text according to marketing strategies and timelines
  • Notify appropriate departments regarding scheduled appointments
  • Assist with additional duties as assigned
