About The Position

Skill Struck helps schools teach computer science and AI through engaging, accessible curriculum and software, with a focus on equity in education. We're looking for a part-time Business Development Representative (BDR) to help identify and qualify new business opportunities for our sales team. It's a flexible, remote role built around cold calling, so it's a great fit for someone who wants meaningful part-time work they can do from home. Candidate must reside in Utah.

Nice To Haves

1-2 years of sales experience, preferably B2B or EdTech
Familiarity with CRM and sales engagement tools (e.g., HubSpot, Outreach, SalesLoft)
Experience in K-12 Education Technology

Responsibilities

Spend ~10-15 hours per week (2-3 hours per day) cold calling prospects, pitching Skill Struck, and scheduling follow-up meetings for our Account Executives
Prospects are primarily curriculum directors, instructional technology directors, and CTE directors at public school districts across the US
Use your own cell phone, but we'll connect it to HubSpot so prospects won't see your personal number
Get access to our HubSpot (CRM) with pre-built call lists ready to crank through
Onboarding is short. We'll train you on the basics and expect you to learn quickly as you call
Join a Slack channel where you can ask questions and get quick answers when you hit roadblocks
May occasionally be invited to internal meetings, but the default is to spend as close to 100% of your time as possible making calls
Your initial goal is 10 meetings per month, or 2-3 per week
Work from anywhere, as long as there's no background noise and you have reliable cell / internet access
