About The Position

Nutrislice is an established Colorado-based foodservice technology company, and we’re growing our Sales team with the addition of a Business Development Representative. At Nutrislice, customer success includes the full lifecycle of onboarding, relationship management, and renewal. Our customers are foodservice operators in higher education, corporate dining, and K-12 organizations. As a Business Development Representative at Nutrislice, you’ll be the engine behind our sales pipeline — hunting for new opportunities within K-12 school districts across the country and turning cold outreach into warm conversations. This is a high-activity, high-impact role where you’ll own the top of the funnel: prospecting, calling, and engaging decision-makers to uncover needs and book meetings for the sales team. You’ll work in a fast-moving, remote environment with a modern sales tech stack — including Salesforce, Outreach.io, Clay, and AI tools — and have real visibility into how your efforts directly fuel company growth. Requirements

  • 1-3 years of direct sales experience or relevant coursework
  • The ability to source great prospects and obtain all necessary information to support seller success
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and/or exceed quotas (sales rankings preferred)
  • Tenacious with ability to efficiently prioritize tasks and manage time on a self-directed basis
  • A coachable individual who’s open to new ideas and feedback, and is looking to advance their skill set
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • An entrepreneurial spirit – the idea of being an active participant in a growing company must excite you
  • Must be tech savvy and able to navigate Salesforce.com

Responsibilities

  • Drive qualified pipeline by identifying and generating opportunities within target accounts of K-12 school districts throughout the country.
  • Build, scale, and utilize outreach sequences, cold calling, social selling, and networking to create pipeline.
  • Make 50+ calls per day to identify target organizations’ needs and objectives
  • Utilize Salesforce, Google Suite, Chili Piper, Outreach.io, Clay, Claude, ChatGPT, and Zapier with proficiency
  • Use online resources to understand customers’ pain points and work to solve them
  • Track and report progress on daily, weekly and monthly goals
