The platform streamlines the entire content creation process, using AI-driven tools to automate roles like editing, directing, and design, eliminating the need for expensive equipment or external services. The Business Development team is crucial for Riverside's growth, focusing on identifying and engaging potential customers. As an outbound team, they proactively connect with businesses to generate interest and create opportunities for the sales team. This involves strategic prospecting, personalized outreach, and persistence to open conversations with key decision-makers. The role is ideal for motivated self-starters who thrive in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment.

Requirements

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to adapt your message across different channels.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, able to juggle multiple tasks and priorities efficiently.
  • A self-driven, goal-oriented mindset, always striving to learn and improve.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting via cold calls, emails, and social media.
  • Strong executive presence and ability to build meaningful connections quickly.
  • A creative approach to outreach, constantly thinking of new ways to engage potential customers.

  • Flexibility to travel occasionally for conferences and networking opportunities.
  • Candidates must be based in Toronto or the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).
  • The role will require one office day every two weeks at our Downtown Toronto office.

Responsibilities

  • Researching, identifying, and engaging high-potential leads through outbound outreach.
  • Qualifying opportunities and setting the stage for meaningful sales conversations.
  • Crafting compelling messaging.
  • Connecting with prospects through cold calls.
  • Digging into each prospect’s unique needs to uncover potential fit.
  • Collaborating with the team to bring fresh ideas and strategies that refine the outbound approach.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM records and reporting metrics.
