About The Position

Voda Cleaning & Restoration is seeking a Business Development Representative to expand its presence in Miami-Dade County. This is a hybrid, field-based, relationship-driven sales role focused on building referral relationships for restoration services and developing commercial cleaning accounts. The role involves prospecting, market engagement, relationship building, and consistent follow-up to generate opportunities. The representative will work directly with the Owner/Operator to build the local market presence.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel throughout Miami-Dade County for meetings, site visits, and networking activity.
  • Ability to manage a hybrid schedule that includes field sales activity, remote follow-up, and regular communication with the owner.
  • Comfort working in a high-accountability, growth-focused environment.
  • Willingness to participate in occasional evening or weekend networking, community, or business-development events as needed.
  • Bilingual English / Spanish strongly preferred.

Nice To Haves

  • Business development, outside sales, account development, or relationship selling experience.
  • Experience in restoration, cleaning services, property services, home services, facilities, or related B2B service industries is strongly preferred.
  • Experience building referral relationships or selling into local commercial accounts is a plus.
  • Comfortable in a field-based sales role with regular in-person meetings.
  • Disciplined with follow-up and pipeline management.
  • Proactive and self-directed.
  • Professional in front of referral partners, commercial prospects, and customers.
  • Organized enough to keep CRM records and activity current.

Responsibilities

  • Build referral relationships that generate restoration business, particularly for water mitigation and related services.
  • Develop relationships with referral partners such as plumbers, property managers, insurance professionals, realtors, general contractors/remodelers, facility managers, and condo/HOA managers.
  • Prospect and develop new referral relationships.
  • Conduct in-person meetings, site visits, drop-ins, and lunches.
  • Maintain visibility with referral partners through consistent follow-up.
  • Educate referral sources on Voda’s service capabilities and response process.
  • Generate commercial cleaning revenue by pursuing one-time and recurring commercial accounts.
  • Identify and prospect commercial cleaning opportunities.
  • Build relationships with commercial accounts and property stakeholders.
  • Convert one-time jobs into recurring service relationships where appropriate.
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, text, LinkedIn, and in-person outreach.
  • Set and attend meetings with referral partners and commercial prospects.
  • Maintain a pipeline of opportunities and next-step meetings.
  • Log activity, contacts, and follow-up in the CRM.
  • Coordinate with the owner and operations team to stay aligned on service delivery and opportunities.

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $30,000 per year
  • Target First-Year OTE: $50,000–$70,000+ depending on performance
  • 5% commission on self-generated restoration jobs
  • 3% commission on self-generated one-time commercial cleaning jobs
  • 5% commission on new recurring commercial cleaning accounts for the first 12 months
  • $500 monthly business development bonus tied to activity and pipeline KPI targets
