About The Position

The Business Development Representative, reporting to the Director of Regional Operations, is responsible for achieving and exceeding sales quotas. Key duties include developing and maintaining a target account system for prospective clients, ensuring fair pricing in line with company policy, and organizing sales support materials. The role also involves providing regular activity reports to management, building relationships with new and existing customers to maximize sales, and participating in professional development activities to maintain industry knowledge. Requirements

  • 3 or more years of outside sales experience with an emphasis on prospecting and new customer development in the service industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Superior relationship building ability and thoroughness with clients
  • Strong sales skills with knowledge of the complete sales cycle
  • Works well independently

  • Pest management industry experience an asset

Responsibilities

  • Achieve their sales quota and sets a personal quota which should exceed the Company’s standard
  • Develop and maintain target account system for major prospective clients
  • Ensure that all goods and services sold are at a fair price and within Company policy on pricing, selling and collection
  • Maintain sales support and presentations materials in an organized and professional manner
  • Provide Manager with a regular report of activities; complete sales reports on time
  • Develop relationships with new and existing customers and provides information to maximize sales volume
  • Assume responsibility for related duties as required or assigned; Attend and participate in seminars, professional conferences
  • Maintain knowledge in relevant field at all times
