About The Position

Restoration Pros and its plumbing division, 1-Tom-Plumber, are seeking a Business Development Representative to represent both companies in the field. This role involves taking over an existing book of business with active accounts and established referral sources already generating revenue. Restoration Pros, recognized by Inc. Magazine as one of the 5,000 fastest-growing companies in the country, specializes in fire and water damage cleanup, mold remediation, and insurance-related repairs. The 1-Tom-Plumber division serves both residential and commercial clients across the Acadiana area.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of proven sales experience in a business development or outside sales role.
  • The ability to build relationships that people actually want to maintain, driving repeat business.
  • Ability to create own schedule, manage own pipeline, and hold self accountable to results.
  • Experience with a CRM (HubSpot preferred) and consistent activity tracking.
  • Professional and personable in any setting, whether a homeowner's kitchen or a commercial property manager's office.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Protecting and growing an existing book of business while developing new relationships across a wide range of market segments, including property managers, facility managers, insurance agencies, insurance adjusters, hotels, apartment complexes, school districts, restaurants, government agencies, and commercial businesses of all kinds.
  • Representing Restoration Pros and 1-Tom-Plumber at networking events and in the field.
  • Engaging in client meetings, referral development, and consistent follow-up with referral sources.
  • Taking ownership of existing referral sources and accounts from day one.
  • Prospecting and developing new relationships across residential and commercial markets.
  • Keeping all activity logged in HubSpot, including calls, meetings, and new contacts.
  • Reporting directly to ownership and General Managers on pipeline, strategies, and territory development.
  • Bringing back field intelligence to help improve services and estimating.
