Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in any discipline (unofficial post-secondary transcripts may be requested).
  • 2+ years of frontline sales experience, preferably in a fast-paced B2B sales setting, with a consistent history of achieving sales objectives.
  • Intellectual adaptability and inquisitiveness: willingness to continuously learn about the product and customer, and apply this knowledge to articulate the value proposition.
  • Exceptional communication and sales proficiency: ability to convey messages clearly and persuasively to internal and external audiences, including senior executives, and demonstrate sales expertise throughout the sales process.
  • Proficient active listening: skillful in attentive listening and responding to customers to enhance mutual comprehension.
  • Organizational and time management aptitude: ability and discipline to efficiently oversee diverse and intricate sales activities with ongoing prioritization.
  • Persistence and resilience: unwavering tenacity in managing the sales process, overcoming setbacks, and using creativity and innovation to address sales challenges.
  • Business savvy: ability to leverage insights into the business landscape and information technology to effectively engage with customers.
  • Self-motivation and self-awareness: displays self-driven motivation and understanding of personal strengths and areas for growth.

Responsibilities

  • Boosting revenue and fostering sales expansion by pinpointing, engaging, and acquiring potential clients in a designated region.
  • Creating fresh business opportunities through prospecting, lead generation, cold calling, and coordinating/leading sales presentations.
  • Establishing a strong connection between the company's products, services, and value proposition by engaging in meaningful cold conversations with Vendor Services executives within the assigned territory.
  • Achieving and surpassing predefined objectives and performance metrics.
