About The Position

As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for acting as the primary service contact for key accounts. A successful BDR will establish customer relationships and be able to sell the overall value of the Caterpillar brand.

Nice To Haves

  • Six (6) months of Inside Sales experience preferred
  • Four-year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Prior experience in sales with with experience in the heavy equipment industry preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary service contact for key accounts.
  • Prepare for and participate in weekly update calls.
  • Attend regularly scheduled onsite update meetings.
  • Inspect new machines prior to customer delivery.
  • Review open workorders.
  • Review Machine POP and customer info for accuracy on a monthly basis and provide data insights.
  • Assist with fleet reporting, including: Alerts - condition monitoring, CAT inspections, SOS SOS interpretation Run hours Idle time percentage and idle fuel usage Operator driven events Track and address non-reporting VisionLink Machines
  • Assist with CVA accuracy/inspections reporting on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Participate in the monthly outstanding service letter call.
  • Forecast for future repairs and WEAR parts replacements.
  • Assist quoting as needed.
  • Assist with customer cookouts and events.
  • Assist with preparing business review presentations.
  • Deliver parts as needed.
  • Participate in required safety program, and work in a safe manner
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by management
