About The Position

ACV is seeking a Business Development Representative I who is passionate about helping and enabling dealers as they provide that all-important first impression of ACV to our new customers. This role is for an ambitious, flexible, and dependable individual who is always seeking to improve and truly enjoys engaging with customers.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED- required
  • 2 year(s) Telesales in a B to B environment
  • Ability to read, write speak and understand English
  • A reliable self- starter attitude who is capable of thriving in an entrepreneurial environment
  • The desire to roll up your sleeves to get stuff done; doing whatever it takes to delight a customer while still getting the job done
  • Team player and adaptable
  • A history of winning awards for being awesome in some way.
  • Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
  • A sense of urgency and self- motivation.

Nice To Haves

  • 4 year/ Bachelors degree- preferred
  • Call center experience or relevant experience selling is a plus
  • Direct selling of commodity/ non- commodity products and services or consultative sales background will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Research new prospect dealerships and understand their needs in order to provide a customized onboarding experience
  • Effectively communicate the ACV advantage, key differentiators, and the value that ACV adds to dealers
  • Effectively speak with and motivate dealers and managers at dealerships
  • Walk dealers through the use of our ACV Auctions platform (app and desktop), our policies, and review best practices
  • Proactively communicate with new dealers via phone, email and text/SMS
  • Work with the Dealer Onboarding team to ensure a smooth and seamless transition of account information as the Dealer moves into the next phase of partnering with ACV
  • Respond to leads and tasks in a timely fashion
  • Effectively communicate with field sales organization and adjacent departments
  • Capture key contact information and sales interaction information in Salesforce application
  • Strive to meet and exceed all assigned Key Performance Indicator metrics
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Benefits

  • At target performance, this position is eligible to earn up to $2,000 in additional monthly compensation pursuant to ACV’s incentive compensation plan.
