CliniconexOttawa, ON
CA$50,000 - CA$55,000Hybrid

About The Position

At Cliniconex, our focus is our customers, our community and our culture. As a small company, we understand the importance of having a team that connects effectively. Whether it’s day-to-day operations or an emergency, teams need to be on the same page, and that’s why we make healthcare communication and collaboration solutions that are easy to implement, easy to use and easy to scale. Our Automated Care Platform is a powerful suite of tools used by Medical Clinics, Hospitals, and Senior Care organizations across North America. Every day, we help healthcare teams create family-centered communities through timely, transparent outreach. The result? More time to care. Our team is small, focused, and high performing. We have nearly tripled the size of our product footprint in the last year. We’re growing existing partnerships, actively seeking new ones, and making a name for ourselves in new markets. In short, we’re moving fast, we know where we’re going, and we need your help to get there! This is an opportunity to break into the enterprise side of healthcare technology, build real industry knowledge, and grow toward a closing role in a fast-moving organization.

Requirements

  • Has experience or clear demonstrated aptitude in sales, lead generation or business development.
  • Is a strong communicator with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, and is comfortable reaching senior stakeholders.
  • Is a genuinely strong researcher who enjoys digging through sources to surface what others missed.
  • Is organized and deadline-driven. Procurement timelines do not move for anyone.
  • Is comfortable working closely with a single Account Executive as a true partnership, sharing accountability for a number.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRMs, and with Microsoft or Google productivity tools.
  • Experience in healthcare, either through work or education.
  • Exposure to public sector procurement, tenders or formal RFP processes.
  • Familiarity with the US healthcare market, particularly clinic operations or payer dynamics.
  • Comfort using AI tools to accelerate research, list building and outreach.

Responsibilities

  • Build direct pipeline in new segments
  • Partner directly with the Enterprise Account Executive on a target account plan for each new segment, and own top-of-funnel execution against it.
  • Prospect into senior living operators, from regional groups through to national portfolios, using voice, email and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Open new partner marketplaces by identifying, researching and making first contact with prospective marketplace customers.
  • Build pipeline in US medical clinics, learning how buying process, terminology and regulatory drivers differ from the Canadian market.
  • Book qualified meetings for the Enterprise Account Executive, measured on meetings that convert to pipeline rather than meetings booked.
  • Map the buying unit in larger organizations across clinical, IT, operations and finance, so a deal never rests on a single contact.
  • Run multi-touch, multi-channel outreach sequences, and refine them based on what actually earns replies.
  • Monitor public tender portals, provincial and state procurement sites, group purchasing organizations and partner channels for relevant RFP, RFI and RFQ opportunities.
  • Screen each opportunity against agreed fit criteria — segment, scope, timeline, incumbent vendor and submission requirements — and summarize your findings for the Enterprise Account Executive to qualify.
  • Maintain a live, well-organized RFP tracker covering deadlines, requirements and go or no-go status.
  • Build institutional knowledge over time on which sources, agencies and buying cycles are genuinely worth watching.
  • Become an expert on the Automated Care Platform and on the communication challenges facing senior living, clinic and hospital teams.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity and procurement patterns across our new segments.
  • Diligently maintain records of all interactions and activities in our CRM.
  • Ask questions and be curious.
  • Be the face and voice of Cliniconex when interacting with prospects, and share what you learn back with the team.
