About The Position

Greenmark Waste Solutions is seeking candidates with strong sales aptitude and a desire to be part of a collaborative team for two sales positions: Business Development Representative (Inside Sales) and Account Executive (Outside Sales). The company provides industry and sales training and is looking for individuals with specific character traits such as curiosity, organization, dependability, comfort with phone and field work, relationship-orientation, competitiveness, and the ability to connect with blue-collar business owners. Greenmark Waste Solutions, based in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, is a locally-owned solid waste and recycling collection company serving industrial, commercial, and construction markets. They also operate as Home Town Disposal in the Memphis metroplex for the residential market. Greenmark emphasizes taking care of its people and aims to be a regionally integrated solid waste company known for dependability and expertise, while maintaining local roots. The company is building a best-in-class business from the ground up with experienced leadership and is seeking team members to build their careers with them. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a customer service role that includes upselling, phone-based prospecting, cold calling, and/or direct business-to-business sales resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments (part-time work during college and/or internship experience can count toward this requirement)
  • Experience with CRM tools preferred
  • 2+ years of door-to-door business-to-business prospecting experience resulting in successfully obtaining customer appointments and closing sales (Additional Requirements for Account Executive)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel throughout metroplex to meet with prospective and current customers (Additional Requirements for Account Executive)

Nice To Haves

  • Industry experience in business services, construction, industrial services, or environmental services is a plus
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Prospect for new potential customers utilizing sales tools and market research
  • Obtain potential customers through cold calling and email outreach
  • Establish initial and follow-up appointments with customer decision-makers
  • Manage and communicate effectively with prospects throughout the sales cycle, from initial contact to negotiation and closing
  • Manage, organize, and track all stages of the sale process in our system
  • Document all activities and develop robust information profiles on prospective customers
  • Complete required proposals, service agreements, and other administrative work in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with operations to ensure a smooth customer experience
  • Meet and exceed monthly targeted sales goals and customer satisfaction goals
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of Greenmark, waste industry, local market competitive trends and our equipment
  • Focus on serving customers and discern actionable steps to help customers
  • Work independently, earn a reputation as a trusted team member who will always do the right thing, and communicate proactively
  • Be a brand ambassador for Greenmark, driving a culture of excellence and true partnership with team members, customers and external stakeholders
  • Leverage industry events and conferences for prospecting (Additional Responsibilities for Account Executive)
