About The Position

The Account Representative – Business Development is responsible for driving revenue growth, expanding market share, and strengthening customer relationships across the Artificial Lift portfolio. This role combines technical understanding of artificial lift systems with strong commercial execution to identify opportunities, position value-based solutions, and deliver profitable growth. The position works closely with operations, engineering, and business teams to align Halliburton capabilities with customer production objectives and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
  • 3–8 years of experience in sales, business development, or customer-facing roles within oil & gas or industrial environments.
  • Strong understanding of artificial lift systems, production operations, or related oilfield technologies.
  • Proven ability to build customer relationships and support commercial growth initiatives.
  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer accounts and priorities in a dynamic environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with ESP, rod lift, gas lift, or other artificial lift technologies.
  • Experience supporting production optimization or well performance initiatives.
  • Exposure to multi-PSL or integrated service offerings.
  • Experience managing accounts with significant revenue scope or strategic growth objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute account strategies to support revenue growth and market expansion within assigned territories and customer accounts.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships across engineering, operations, and procurement organizations.
  • Identify customer production challenges and recommend Artificial Lift solutions aligned with operational and commercial objectives.
  • Deliver technical sales presentations, proposals, and product recommendations to customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and field teams to ensure successful solution implementation and customer satisfaction.
  • Support contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and commercial discussions.
  • Monitor market trends, customer activity, and competitor positioning to identify new business opportunities.
  • Maintain sales forecasts, pipeline activity, and account development plans.
  • Represent Halliburton during customer meetings, field visits, and industry events.
  • Participate in business planning activities and support strategic growth initiatives within the PSL.
