About The Position

Procon E&C is seeking a highly motivated Business Development & Marketing Manager to lead client development, expand sales opportunities, and strengthen the company’s market presence across industrial and specialty construction sectors. This is a high-visibility, client-facing role focused on building relationships, generating qualified opportunities, and representing Procon professionally with both existing and prospective clients. The ideal candidate is energetic, polished, business-minded, and confident in developing trust through meetings, networking events, business dinners, and ongoing customer engagement. Because many of our clients and decision-makers are Korean-owned companies or Korean-speaking stakeholders, fluent Korean and English communication skills are required . This position will work closely with company leadership and estimating/operations teams to convert market opportunities into awarded projects.

Requirements

  • Fluent in Korean and English (spoken and written)
  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, account management, client relations, or similar client-facing roles
  • Strong relationship-building ability with confident and professional presence
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and business etiquette
  • High energy, self-motivated, and comfortable meeting new people regularly
  • Strong follow-up habits and attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple active opportunities
  • Professional appearance and polished presentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel frequently

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in construction, subcontracting, industrial projects, manufacturing, real estate, or B2B services
  • Existing network within Korean business communities, Korean contractors, owners, or vendors
  • Experience with CRM systems, pipeline tracking, or sales reporting
  • Experience preparing presentations, proposals, or marketing materials
  • Experience working with Korean and U.S. business cultures
  • Proven success generating revenue growth or new customer relationships

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in industrial, manufacturing, and commercial construction markets
  • Increase bid invitations, negotiated opportunities, and strategic introductions
  • Conduct customer meetings, jobsite visits, networking events, lunches, dinners, and relationship-building activities
  • Represent Procon professionally in all external interactions
  • Track sales pipeline activity and maintain opportunity follow-up discipline
  • Support pursuit strategy from first contact through award stage
  • Coordinate internally with estimating and operations teams to position competitive proposals
  • Participate in go / no-go decisions for selected opportunities
  • Help expand Procon into new geographic markets as opportunities arise
  • Maintain regular communication with key accounts and repeat clients
  • Strengthen long-term customer loyalty and repeat business
  • Understand customer needs, schedules, decision-making processes, and pain points
  • Respond quickly and professionally to customer requests and opportunities
  • Help resolve client concerns by coordinating with internal teams
  • Manage external company image and brand presentation
  • Support or oversee company presentations, capability statements, proposal formatting, brochures, and customer-facing materials
  • Coordinate website, LinkedIn, and digital presence updates
  • Manage trade show participation, networking presence, and industry events
  • Help ensure consistent, polished, and professional messaging in the market
  • Oversee and support the Preconstruction Estimator role
  • Provide market feedback to leadership regarding trends, competitors, pricing pressure, and customer activity
  • Support future growth of the business development team as the company expands
  • Report directly to company leadership regarding pipeline status and opportunity strategy
