Our Potential Opportunity INTECH Automation Intelligence is expanding its presence across Europe and Africa and is seeking a Business Development Manager – Oil & Gas (France) to drive strategic growth at the headquarters level of key global energy players. The role is responsible for accelerating INTECH’s growth by strengthening and expanding approved-vendor status, developing executive-level relationships, leading pre-qualification initiatives across product lines, and converting identified opportunities into awarded contracts across Africa and the Middle East. Strategic Stakeholder Engagement (France) Identify, map, and build trusted relationships with technical, procurement, and project management stakeholders at TotalEnergies, Technip Energies, and Saipem headquarters. Position INTECH as a preferred partner for Automation, Electrical, Digital, Skids, and Well Head Control Panels solutions. Prequalification & Vendor Approval Lead and complete HQ-level and product-specific pre-qualification processes across all relevant disciplines. Secure and maintain vendor registrations and project-specific approvals. Project Intelligence & Pipeline Development Proactively track brownfield upgrades, digital transformation initiatives, and greenfield capital projects originating from French headquarters. Map project managers and engineering leads responsible for global execution. Build and manage a strong and sustainable opportunity pipeline. RFQ Generation & Bid Conversion Convert strategic relationships into RFQs issued under INTECH’s name. Influence technical specifications prior to tender issuance. Coordinate with proposal, engineering, and execution teams to develop competitive and winning bids. Support participation in both greenfield and brownfield projects. Africa & Middle East Execution Alignment Travel frequently to operating countries across Africa to align headquarters stakeholders with local execution teams. Strengthen on-ground relationships to improve project win ratios. Support technical and commercial clarifications and contribute to contract negotiations.

Requirements

  • 10–12 years of proven Sales & Business Development experience in the Oil & Gas sector
  • Demonstrated experience selling as a contractor/sub-contractor to TotalEnergies France headquarters
  • Strong track record in brownfield upgrade and modernization project sales
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline
  • Native French & fluent English
  • Strong executive presence and cultural fluency
  • Exceptional relationship-building and influencing capabilities
  • Commercially astute with credible technical depth
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working across multicultural environments in Europe, Africa, and the Middle East
