About The Position

Easy Ice is seeking a Business Development Manager for its Outside Sales organization, focused on developing new business-to-business accounts. This is a remote, work-from-home position, but the successful salesperson must be active in their market daily and work with local branch operations teams. The role includes prospecting, cold calling, setting appointments, presenting Easy Ice’s value proposition, and conducting quality site surveys to support successful installations. The manager is responsible for understanding customer needs, providing suitable solutions, and contributing to customer satisfaction. The role requires coordination across sales, operations, and installation teams to convert monthly sales into installed equipment. The Business Development Manager self-generates leads through networking, referrals, cold calling, and other local sales activities; manages opportunities and customer records in Salesforce; reports daily sales results; and works toward monthly sales and installation targets. Compensation includes a 55% / 45% compensation mix, a solid base salary, and uncapped commission potential.

  • Ability to deliver presentations and product demonstrations effectively.
  • Experience using CRM software to manage sales pipelines and customer interactions.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to work in the market daily and manage a territory from a remote home-office base.
  • Ability to drive a vehicle for up to 50 percent of hours worked.
