The Business Development Manager plays a high-impact role in some of the firm’s most dynamic and visible areas, partnering with attorneys and firm leadership to drive growth, strengthen client relationships, and elevate our market presence. Practice Support: Works closely with the Complex Litigation and Product Liability practice groups to develop and sustain a loyal and expanding client base, driving increased demand for services. Contributes to strategic business development planning, proactively identifies opportunities to promote and cross-sell capabilities, and brings targeted marketing and client development initiatives to life. This role is instrumental in translating strategy into action and results. Client Support: Partners with the Client Relations Group to support key client relationships and help deepen the firm’s engagement with priority clients. Through coordinated planning, reporting, and strategic initiatives—including client events, entertainment, and tailored outreach—the Manager helps strengthen long-term partnerships and deliver an exceptional client experience. Office Support: Champions business development and market visibility efforts for the Seattle office, collaborating with office leadership and practice groups to enhance the firm’s regional profile. Serves as a primary point of contact across the firm for Seattle-related business development initiatives, ensuring alignment, coordination, and strong internal communication. The position leads the execution of targeted marketing strategies, including client events, community engagement, thought leadership campaigns, CLE programs, sponsorships, and digital initiatives. Develops customized pitches, RFP responses, presentations, and marketing materials with meticulous attention to detail, ensuring consistently accurate, polished, and compelling content. Above all, the Manager is committed to delivering exceptional client service and ensuring satisfaction across all aspects of the role.
