Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3+ years' relevant experience in technical, sales and general management, preferably within the packaging industry
  • Experience in working in a large scale business-to-business environment
  • Ability to travel domestically & internationally 60% of time.
  • Proven track record of successful sales growth and profitability
  • Experience with negotiations

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales goals, including profitable year-over-year growth for the assigned territory.
  • Increase business with existing and new accounts through prospecting and networking.
  • Manage account complexities to meet customer needs and communicate these needs internally.
  • Orchestrate and support key business negotiations, influencing decisions and actions.
  • Grow customer relationships based on trust and respect, enabling proactive and complex conversations.
  • Build collaborative relationships with customers' leadership, marketing, and R&D teams to enhance sales initiatives.
  • Build and leverage cross-functional relationships to support share of wallet growth strategies and the commercialization process.
  • Network externally with key influencers and collaborators in the industry, including co-packers, machine suppliers, OEMs, and industry associations.
  • Coordinate with Sales Management, R&D, Marketing, and Field Service for validation and customer trials.
  • Manage accounts receivable in coordination with the credit department.
  • Collaborate with Strategic Marketing to identify actions for unmet customer needs.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally on the implementation of defined strategy (technology, product management, commercial) for the market and targeted segments.
  • Report and communicate current performance achievements in sales and marketing contribution for monthly management reporting.
  • Drive forecast accuracy for improved business results.
  • Recognize and communicate competitive insights, marketing strategies, pricing structures, or product performance to stakeholders.
  • Manage Account Planning, Pipeline management, profitability improvements, and churn management in the CRM tool.
