About The Position

OPEX Corporation is currently looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Document & Mail Automation (DMA) team, focused specifically on the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Service Bureau markets. Our company manufactures and designs innovative mail automation equipment integrated with software solutions for business mailing operations, postal agencies, service bureaus, BPO organizations, and other customers across the world. The territory for this position will be everything East of the Mississippi River.

Requirements

• 3+ years of successful Outside B2B Sales experience.
• Sales or Operations experience is required.
• Ability and willingness to travel as required to develop and manage BPO and Service Bureau business.
• Strong planning, organization, communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Valid Driver's License with a good driving record (within the last 5 years).

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Prospecting, hunter mentality, and aggressive self-motivated individual.
• Experience selling to BPO organizations and Service Bureaus preferred.
• Industry experience in Document Imaging and/or Document Management space desirable.
• Tech savvy and proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite Software (with an emphasis on Excel) strongly preferred.
• Consultative selling skills – ability to assess client needs and create solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a Sales Executive for new and existing BPO and Service Bureau accounts.
• Facilitates all aspects of the sales process.
• Understands the company's vision, mission, and strategy; understands business unit objectives and sets/accomplishes individual performance goals accordingly.
• Identifies new sales opportunities with new and existing BPO and Service Bureau customers.
• Prospects for and develops new customer relationships within the BPO and Service Bureau markets.
• Qualifies sales opportunities through market/customer research and understanding the client's needs.
• Communicates OPEX's value proposition to customers, proposes sales solutions to customers, and reevaluates solutions where necessary.
• Develops and maintains relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within customer organizations.
• Manages the sales process from initial prospecting and discovery through purchase order and installation.
• Closes sales opportunities by securing purchase orders or signed proposals.
• Maintains an active sales pipeline and accurately manages opportunities, sales activity, and forecasts.
• Develops and executes plans to grow revenue within assigned BPO and Service Bureau accounts and the overall market.
• Identifies opportunities to expand OPEX's presence within existing customers through additional applications, locations, and solutions.
• Provides outstanding customer service and post-sales satisfaction, facilitating long-term relationships and repeat business with customers.
