About The Position

Envoyage Canada is growing, and we’re looking for a high-impact Business Development Manager to help independent travel advisors and agencies thrive. Backed by Flight Centre Travel Group, this role is all about building meaningful partnerships, driving new business, and shaping the future of entrepreneurial travel in Canada. You’ll own the sales journey end-to-end while helping new partners transition successfully into the Envoyage network. Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in a Business Development Manager or similar sales role within the travel industry.
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Established relationships with independent travel advisors, agencies, and supplier partners.
  • Strong understanding of travel agency operations, commission structures, and the supplier landscape.
  • Experience using Salesforce or a comparable CRM.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating within a national and global organization.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business acquisition by identifying, engaging, and converting high-potential independent travel advisors and agencies.
  • Deliver required monthly prospect appointments and maintain consistent, high-quality sales activity.
  • Build and manage a robust sales pipeline using a structured, data-driven approach.
  • Partner with Marketing to support lead generation through campaigns, profiling, and industry events.
  • Develop multi-level relationships within prospect organizations to support long-term partnerships.
  • Leverage supplier, industry, association, and referral networks to fuel growth.
  • Maintain strong competitive and market intelligence, including host agency models and supplier programs.
  • Qualify prospects based on commercial fit, operating models, and service needs.
  • Identify and address objections, gaps, and barriers with tailored solutions.
  • Manage opportunities, activity tracking, and data integrity within Salesforce.
  • Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements that optimize margin, profitability, and long-term value.
  • Coordinate internal stakeholders to support smooth onboarding and transition of new partners.
  • Support early-stage success through clear communication and expectation-setting.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, tools, and customer experience.
  • Maintain an ongoing professional development plan aligned to performance goals.
