About The Position

Aquatech is seeking a full-time Business Development Manager for the PFAS Market, to work remotely. The role involves generating business leads and revenue for wastewater treatment solutions, specifically focusing on PFAS removal and destruction, as well as promoting Aquatech's technologies in related industries. The manager will be responsible for promoting Aquatech's products and services, organizing presentations, representing the company at trade shows, and collaborating with the Marketing department. They will also maintain strong relationships with key accounts, provide pre-bid support and budget estimates, and update the sales and marketing database. The position requires researching business opportunities, analyzing customer preferences, developing communication packages, and supporting the engineering team in creating practical solutions. Additionally, the role involves developing sales channels, expanding the business territory, and building a team of representatives. The ideal candidate is an initiative-taker who can meet revenue and business development goals, effectively manage and grow a sales territory, and foster relationships to achieve revenue targets.

Requirements

  • Familiarity with CRM software
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science or Engineering or relevant experience in a specific market segment of Food and Beverage
  • Five (5) or more years experience in Business Development and Recurring Revenue Deals of wastewater treatment, and in management and treatment of discharge contaminants such as PFAS
  • Ability to travel 50% or more of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Military Service or working experience with DoD is a beneficial qualification.

Responsibilities

  • Generate business leads and revenue for the treatment of wastewater for PFAS Market in the assigned geographical territory and meet /exceed revenue Goals for the lease of treatment equipment & services.
  • Promote Aquatech’s technologies in PFAS removal and destruction but also adjoining industries with PFAS concerns.
  • Promote Aquatech products and services in the assigned region.
  • Organize presentations to introduce innovative technologies/concepts adopted by Aquatech.
  • Promote Aquatech at various regional and national trade shows, by working on committees, presentations, and attendance.
  • Work with the Marketing department to create product literature that promotes Aquatech products in the Food & Beverage Industries.
  • Update customers on any innovative technologies and systems introduced by the company.
  • Maintain extremely good relations with key & primary accounts in the given region.
  • Provide support to key clients in the assigned territory including pre-bid support, and budget estimates.
  • Provide information to keep the sales and marketing database updated.
  • Find new business opportunities and market segments for wastewater treatment generated from Food and Beverage industry operations.
  • Research business opportunities in the assigned Market: Find key customers, stakeholders, suppliers, competition, and business environment for this opportunity.
  • Collect, analyze, and communicate customer preferences.
  • Analyze and present what would allow Aquatech to capture a significant market share.
  • Develop communication packages to address the market and customer needs.
  • Support the development of a practical solution along with the engineering team.
  • Strategize and communicate the solution to the market.
  • Develop sales channels such as manufacturer reps.
  • Expand the business territory and develop other resources such as strategic partners, sub-vendors, collaborators, contractors, and other vendors.
  • Expand the business territory and develop a team of Aquatech representatives to address all necessary customer requirements.
