Business Development Manager
About The Position
Good Shepherd Hospice provides comprehensive, compassionate end-of-life care focused on the physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being of patients and their families. The Business Development Manager (RN) oversees Hospice/Home Care Liaisons and referral intake operations, supports continuity of care and customer satisfaction, and develops marketing efforts to grow referrals and meet budget goals. The role also helps with intake, marketing, referral volume, and customer service as needed, while maintaining knowledge of and ensuring compliance with agency and department policies and applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements. The successful candidate will understand hospice concepts, philosophy, policies, and procedures and be able to assess the needs of terminally ill patients and their families. The position requires a New York State RN license, a bachelor's degree, electronic medical records experience, and prior managerial or supervisory experience. A master's degree is preferred, as is at least three years of nursing experience in hospice or home care.

Responsibilities
- Supervise, assess, instruct, direct, and evaluate Hospice/Home Care Liaisons.

- Provide quality intake services that promote continuity of care and customer satisfaction and help meet entity needs.
- Develop and promote marketing efforts to grow referrals and meet budget goals.
- Provide intake, marketing, referral-volume, and customer-service support as needed.
- Maintain current knowledge of agency and department policies and procedures and accreditation and regulatory requirements, and ensure compliance.
