About The Position

We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth, build strategic partnerships, and expand market presence within the property damage restoration and reconstruction industry. This role is ideal for a relationship-driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced, service-based environment and understands how to generate, nurture, and close opportunities. You will play a key role in developing referral partnerships, managing client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities across residential and commercial markets.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in business development, outside sales, or account management
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
  • Strong understanding of relationship-based selling and referral network development
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to self-generate leads and build a book of business
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Highly organized with strong follow-up and pipeline management skills
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in restoration, construction, mitigation, or related service industry strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business development and sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new referral partners (plumbers, property managers, insurance agents, adjusters, commercial accounts, etc.)
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships to drive repeat and referral business
  • Conduct in-person meetings, site visits, and presentations to educate partners and clients on services
  • Manage and grow a sales pipeline using CRM tools and lead tracking systems
  • Collaborate with operations teams to ensure a seamless client experience from lead to project completion
  • Respond to and resolve client concerns to maintain high customer satisfaction and retention
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments
  • Track performance metrics, report on KPIs, and adjust strategies to maximize growth
  • Participate in networking events, community outreach, and marketing initiatives
