About The Position

NovaCare Prosthetics and Orthotics, a Select Medical company, is seeking a goal-driven, high-energy sales professional for an entry-level Business Development Manager position. This role is essential for the company's continued growth and building strong relationships with referral sources. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for educating physicians and patients about specialty services and generating referrals to increase patient volume. The ideal candidate is motivated by the challenge and excitement of healthcare sales and is enthusiastic about helping people improve their quality of life. This is not a remote position and requires self-direction, motivation, and a belief in teamwork within a market and region.

Requirements

B.S. /B.A. in business administration, marketing or related field, OR an equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Excellent communications, relationship building and organizational skills a MUST
Must be proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point and Internet functions and applications.

Nice To Haves

2 Years of Sales Experience or Business Development Experience
Prior Health Care Sales experience

Responsibilities

Identify and develop referral opportunities with our customers such as physicians, hospital systems, case managers, and other healthcare providers.
Educate physicians, healthcare providers and case managers about our specialty services.
Regular Participation in Community Outreach Events.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities.
Utilize sales technology as an essential strategy to set direction and improve results.
