About The Position
Business Development Manager Packaging Solutions | Houston, TX $120,000 Base Salary + Uncapped Commission + Car Allowance + Benefits Expected First-Year Earnings: $220,000 - $275,000+ Growing packaging solutions manufacturer Clearly defined progression to Sales Director Mercury Hampton is exclusively retained with a fast-growing packaging solutions manufacturer that is expanding its commercial team, following continued growth across Texas and the Gulf Coast. This is an outstanding opportunity for a high-performing sales professional to join an established business with a strong reputation, excellent operational support, and ambitious growth plans. We're looking for a hunter who enjoys opening doors, winning new business, and building long-term relationships with manufacturers, distributors, logistics providers, and industrial customers.
Requirements
- B2B Packaging, corrugated, flexible packaging, industrial packaging or manufacturing solutions experience
- Track record of winning new business and growing accounts
- Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- Driven, ambitious and self-motivated
Responsibilities
- Develop and win new business across Houston and Texas
- Build relationships with Operations, Procurement, Supply Chain and Manufacturing leaders
- Conduct customer visits and identify opportunities to improve packaging performance and reduce costs
- Manage opportunities from initial contact through to contract award
- Deliver against ambitious sales and growth targets
- Represent the business at industry events and trade shows
