About The Position

Starfish Space is building momentum across commercial and government customers and we are looking for the right individual to dive into our ongoing business development efforts, helping us to win proposals and generate revenue. This critical role requires researching opportunities, initiating discussions, building key relationships, managing the sales process and winning contracts. This is a great opportunity for the right person to be part of an exciting and growing endeavor in the space industry.

Requirements

  • Must be a US person due to ITAR regulations (citizen, permanent resident, or designated asylee / refugee)
  • Willing to work from Tukwila, Washington, or remotely from a US aerospace hub such as Washington, D.C., Colorado, or Los Angeles
  • Capable of working a dynamic, fast paced startup environment
  • College degree or equivalent experience
  • Excellent written and verbal skills along with a high level of professionalism and integrity
  • Strong first-principles problem-solving skills when tackling ambiguous challenges

Nice To Haves

  • Aerospace, deep tech, or tech / educational background highly preferred
  • Proven track record of business development / sales success
  • Experience with commercial satellite companies and/or space-related government agencies a plus
