About The Position

Insurcomm Restoration, part of Fortify Companies, is seeking a Business Development Manager for the Boston, MA/Providence, RI market. This is a field-based, full-time sales leadership role focused on territory growth. The company specializes in complete restoration, reconstruction, and emergency response for fire, water, mold, storms, and environmental hazards. Fortify Companies aims to build a platform that aligns insurance carriers, property owners, and service providers across prevention, response, restoration, and rebuild. They emphasize safety, service, energy, predictability, and collaboration. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for creating new opportunities, growing accounts from zero, and deepening relationships with existing customers, partnering closely with operations to ensure a seamless client experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in field sales or account management with a demonstrated hunting focus
  • Excellent discovery, communication, and negotiation skills; confident presenter
  • Consistent record of meeting or exceeding quota in a metrics-driven environment
  • Valid driver's license and comfort with local travel across the territory
  • Proficiency with HubSpot or a comparable CRM platform

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute a territory growth plan targeting high-potential accounts
  • Prospect and generate new business through outreach, networking, and in-person meetings
  • Organize and attend industry events and trade shows, converting activity into revenue
  • Run effective discovery meetings to understand client needs, timelines, and decision processes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with property managers, insurance professionals, and referral partners
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure exceptional client experience and project handoff
  • Support client communications when needed to strengthen trust and retention
  • Track activity and pipeline in HubSpot (or similar CRM)
  • Comply with all safety, driving, and jobsite requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the needs of the team and business

  • Source new opportunities through direct outreach, local networking, and industry events
  • Organize and attend trade shows and industry events; convert activity into booked revenue
  • Run thorough discovery to understand customer needs, timelines, and decision processes

  • Support client communications as needed throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain accurate pipeline data and activity records in our CRM
  • Comply with all safety, driving, and jobsite requirements
