About The Position

Apptium is looking for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our customer base and accelerate revenue growth. This individual will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and driving the adoption of Apptium’s solutions across key markets. The ideal candidate brings a combination of strategic thinking, relationship-building, and hands-on sales execution to achieve measurable results.

Requirements

  • BS degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or relevant field.
  • 10+ years proven work experience in sales or business development role, preferably in the technology or software industry.
  • Proven track record of closing high-value software deals
  • Strong background in Cloud, SaaS, and enterprise software ideally with experience selling to telcos, managed service providers, or distributors
  • Skilled communicator and relationship builder with executive presence and confident presentation abilities
  • Strategic and analytical, with a consultative approach to addressing business challenges
  • Solid experience with MS Office (particularly MS Excel, PowerPoint and Word).

Responsibilities

  • Identify, qualify and pursue new business opportunities while managing a strong, structured sales pipeline.
  • Lead full enterprise sales cycles from initial outreach and discovery to proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with senior and executive level stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute account plans, from target mapping to deal strategy
  • Drive large-scale software sales involving multiple stakeholders and complex negotiations
  • Collaborate closely with Sales Engineering, Product, and Marketing teams to shape solutions and support client requirements.
  • Support account growth and customer satisfaction efforts across existing accounts.
  • Travel to support client engagements and industry events as needed.
