About The Position

Micropol Fiberoptic is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to expand its presence across North America and accelerate growth. This role involves developing new business opportunities, nurturing strategic customer relationships, and strengthening the distributor network, with a focus on markets such as defense, critical infrastructure, industrial applications, and telecommunications, particularly the defense sector. It's a hands-on, commercially driven position responsible for the entire sales process from prospecting to long-term relationship management. The position is fully remote within the United States, requiring travel primarily within North America and occasionally to Europe. The role reports to the Regional Sales Manager.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
  • Experience managing customer relationships and driving business growth.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience within defence, critical infrastructure, industrial technology, telecommunications, or related industries.
  • Technical background or experience selling technical products and solutions.
  • Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Willingness to travel throughout North America.

  • Providing market feedback to support product development and business strategy.
  • Managing customer information and sales activities within CRM systems.
  • Planning and participating in trade shows, industry events, and customer visits.
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of sales and marketing processes.
