About The Position

The Business Development Manager role is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing inbound sales inquiries, and supporting the outside sales and operations teams to drive revenue growth across our port-centric 3PL services.

Requirements

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products and enterprise software solutions including CRM
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated with a drive to exceed goals
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with a customer-first mindset

Responsibilities

  • Support annual sales targets based on company growth expectations
  • Fully qualify new business opportunities to prepare accurate rate quotes for our transactional business
  • Obtain quotes from required vendors/subcontractors
  • Respond to inbound inquiries from prospective clients, providing timely and accurate information
  • Maintain a strong understanding of CLG’s service offerings including warehousing, transloading, drayage coordination, and value-added services
  • Collaborate with the operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new customers
