Requirements

  • 3-8 Years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within staffing, professional services, or a related industry.
  • A proven production record with a history of meeting and exceeding quotas.
  • Hunter mentality with the ability to build pipeline from scratch through outbound discipline and follow-through.
  • Consultative selling skills, including active listening, diagnosing needs, and building trust.
  • Familiarity with the Accounting & Finance, or professional services talent landscape is a strong advantage.
  • Radical communication skills: direct, credible, and confident at all levels.
  • Coachability: willingness to welcome feedback, apply it quickly, and maintain high personal standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a targeted outbound strategy to identify, engage, and close new client relationships within a designated vertical and geography.
  • Drive net new revenue through cold outreach, relationship-building, strategic account mapping, and consultative selling.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities within Soni's existing client base and deepen relationships to expand wallet share.
  • Act as a trusted market advisor, providing industry insights, compensation data, and workforce intelligence to clients.
  • Partner with recruiting teams to ensure client needs are met with speed, precision, and the right talent.
  • Maintain a rigorous, data-driven approach to pipeline management using CRM and AI tools, tracking activity, forecasting revenue, and optimizing strategy.
  • Represent Soni as a senior representative in the market, at client meetings, industry events, and all touchpoints.
