The Business Development Manager, Under Hood expands the company’s Under Hood product sales to current and new customers at all distribution levels. This role is responsible for communicating and executing assigned Categories strategic initiatives, sales promotions, and training. The BDM will partner closely with Regional Sales Manager, TSM/TMOD teams on ISO Store Readiness/Inventory levels and assessments, attain assigned daily average sales presentations to commercial customers, and provide field insights to help drive sales and strategic Category initiatives. The position involves achieving territory sales quotas, providing training to store employees, working as an advisor and business partner with store owners to build long-term relationships, and managing category specific sales blitzes. The manager is expected to consistently meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial targets, provide top-notch customer service, demonstrate thorough product knowledge, and provide education and training to sales teams and customers. This role also includes executing sales plans, scheduling and partnering with suppliers’ sales teams, managing DEBI rack registrations, conducting periodic account reviews, attending promotional events and trade shows, and sharing marketing intelligence.
