This position is with Henkel's Adhesive Technologies business unit, focusing on empowering people to transform industries and provide customers with a competitive advantage through adhesives, sealants, and functional coatings. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new opportunities to increase sales of Henkel products and solutions within the Automotive industry, specifically in the PCB Protection and Power Electronics Segments. This role involves leveraging market knowledge and experience in opportunity incubation, strategic planning, business modeling, value proposition generation, and project leadership to achieve successful commercialization. The manager will lead collaborative efforts with various departments including Marketing, Product Development, Legal, Finance, Sales, and Application Engineering to align with business unit strategy. Key responsibilities include establishing a discernment process for innovation projects, ensuring a robust innovation pipeline, leading strategic planning and resource allocation, developing strategy maps and customer roadmaps, and steering profitable growth. The role also involves building customer/market relationships and conducting strategic customer portfolio planning in new and high-potential markets.
