About The Position

This is a Business Development Hunter position for one of the industry's leading live event production companies. The role focuses on generating new business through strategic prospecting, networking, referrals, cold outreach, and industry events. The ideal candidate will enjoy networking, prospecting, and creating opportunities from the ground up, building their own pipeline, landing new clients, and being rewarded for their success. This is not an account management position. The role involves owning the full sales cycle, from the first conversation through contract close, and developing relationships with corporate clients, agencies, meeting planners, and event professionals. The position will identify opportunities within trade shows, conferences, product launches, corporate meetings, and experiential events, and partner closely with an experienced production team to deliver world-class live event solutions. The successful candidate will become a trusted resource within the events community and continue expanding their professional network.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of Business Development, B2B Sales, or Event Sales experience.
  • A proven hunter who enjoys opening new doors—not someone waiting for inbound leads.
  • Comfortable making cold calls, networking, asking for referrals, and creating opportunities from scratch.
  • Experience owning the full sales cycle and consistently meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Strong relationship builder with excellent communication and presentation skills.
