About The Position

Hopestone Hospice is seeking a Business Development Liaison - Account Manager to join their mission-driven team. This role is crucial for driving growth and community engagement by building trusted partnerships that expand access to compassionate end-of-life care. The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused healthcare sales professional who excels at creating meaningful connections and ensuring patients receive the support they need. The Hospice Business Development Liaison is responsible for developing and strengthening referral relationships across the healthcare community to increase awareness, admissions, and access to Choice Hospice services. This role serves as an ambassador for the organization, partnering with physicians, hospitals, case managers, facilities, and community organizations to position Choice Hospice as the provider of choice. Success in this role is achieved through strategic relationship development, market growth, service excellence, and a strong understanding of hospice care delivery.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of Home Health or Hospice sales experience preferred
  • Proven success developing referral networks and driving census growth
  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Valid Auto Insurance
  • Experience with HomeCare HomeBase (HCHB) preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and cultivate referral relationships to drive hospice admissions and market growth
  • Present and promote Choice Hospice’s patient-centered care model to referral partners and community stakeholders
  • Build strong partnerships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, and healthcare professionals
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories
  • Create and execute strategic outreach and community engagement plans
  • Serve as a trusted resource regarding hospice eligibility, services, and patient transitions
  • Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to ensure seamless patient onboarding and continuity of care
  • Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to healthcare marketing
  • Support public relations initiatives that enhance brand awareness and community presence
  • Meet and exceed monthly admission and growth goals
